Looking Ahead: Our Vision for the Future

At CEENEL (Centre d’Encadrement des Enfants Nécessiteux de Leffe), we are dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young girls in distress. Established in 2003 in Bafou Centre, West Region of Cameroon, we provide a safe haven and essential support for orphans, disadvantaged youth, and children affected by HIV/AIDS. Through education, vocational training, and psychosocial care, we empower our beneficiaries to overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

Who We Are
Our Mission

CEENEL is committed to reducing the number of vulnerable children and improving their quality of life. We aim to provide educational, nutritional, and emotional support while facilitating their social integration. Our goal is to nurture self-reliance, life skills, and hope for a better tomorrow.

Support CEENEL – Transform a Child’s Life

Every day, CEENEL works to provide care, education, and hope to vulnerable children, orphans, and young girls in distress. However, we cannot do this alone. Your generosity helps us create a nurturing environment where children can dream, learn, and grow.

We Provide

Educational Support

We offer school supervision, tutoring, and remedial classes to ensure academic success.

Awareness Campaigns: Through workshops on HIV/AIDS prevention, drug abuse, and life skills, we educate children about making safe and informed choices.

Vocational Training

Children learn trades like sewing, hairstyling, beadwork, and small-scale farming for future self-sufficiency.

Health and Well-being: CEENEL provides basic medical support, hospital referrals, and nutritious meals to promote overall health.

Get Involved: Ways to Help

This year, wheelchairs and crutches for disabled children were received from the Bafou diaspora in the U.S. during the cultural festival "LEMOU."

Create a more spacious, ventilated reception center to accommodate more children.

Community Upliftment Projects

CEENEL operates primarily within the Nkong-Ni Subdivision, which includes two main villages (Bafou and Baleveng). Its reach can extend, if necessary, to the Menoua Division, the West Region, and the entire national territory.

Emergency Aid

We provide critical emergency assistance to communities in need, ensuring immediate relief and support during crises, while laying the groundwork for long-term recovery and resilience.

Why Our Programs Matter

At CEENEL, we believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive. Our programs not only provide immediate relief but also equip children with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and vulnerability. With your support, we can expand our reach and help more children achieve their dreams.
